ABOUT US: San Paulo Olive Farm produces exceptional extra virgin olive oil on a small estate located on the beautiful Central Coast of California. Our goal is to uphold the tradition of providing the finest certified oil to discerning customers, friends, and family alike.

John and Julie Ryan are long time residents of central coast California and built their home in 2005 on acreage in Atascadero, California. They planted their first trees in 2008 and enjoy farming the trees with the help of their daschunds. Louise, Thelma, Charlie, and Olive are not only adorning their labels, they protect the farm from those pesky gophers.

The orchard is planted in two Italian/Tuscan varietals. They chose the Leccino and the Frantoio trees, for it is well known that these varietals, when combined, produce a great, versatile, user-friendly oil.
